Bike, Hike & Run- Pre-Season Prep

Focussing on hip, shoulder & core health, this class will speak specifically to the hiker, biker & runner. Building strength and finding mobility to support long days with movements specific to developing healthy hips & shoulders with an emphasis on trunk stability. We’ll also explore energy systems and how to train them to enhance your performance.

No prerequisites required.

Begins April 3rd- May 17th, 2023 Mondays and Wednesdays @ 5:45pm- all session are 60 mins long

Simply Strength- Noon Hour Series

If you’re ready to step into summer feeling the strongest and most confident you’ve ever felt, join Simply Strength. Using dumbbells and kettlebells, this 8 week program will introduce great form and technique and introduce progressive overload so you can see and feel results in the most efficient way. No burpees, no jump rope, & no BS- this class is as it sounds- simply about building strength and confidence. Ideal for those new or returning to Strength Training, no prerequisites required.

Begins April 3rd -May 31, 2023

Mondays & Wednesday 12:10-12:50pm- all sessions are 40 mins long ( showers/change rooms on site).

Our programming is science backed to help you get the results you want.  If you’re looking to build strength and endurance, mobility and stability, power and performance, you’ll find it here. We’ve got something for everyone.

Junior Athletics

For our Youngest athletes, this program helps young athletes begin to build great habits for a healthy lifestyle while building strength to help them achieve confidence in their sports and life.

STRNGirls

Calling all self identifying girls in grades 8-12.  In this program, you’ll learn the following:

  • Develop confidence in their abilities and comfort in a gym setting.
  • About equipment, how to use it and proper gym etiquette
  • Form and technique appropriate to their age and development.
  • Load vs capacity, what proper recovery looks like so that adaptation can occur.
  • SDS( Sleep/diet/stress) & how they play a role in our performance in and out of the gym.
  • Pain and how to address it, which professional to see and when.
  • Nutrition and its role in the energy systems & overall health. 

PREP

This program is offered multiple times throughout the year in a small group setting. In PREP, you’ll learn what we call the BASE-ics so you are ready to enter our Functional Training classes feeling prepared and ready for success.

Golden Rockets

Golden’s Junior “B” hockey team trains at BASE during their regular season. With a focus on performance and recovery, these athletes use BASE to get the training they need for a successful season.
